Bandai Namco Entertainment and Tamsoft have released the thirtieth character trailer for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, an upcoming 3D arena fighting game based on Tite Kubo's popular shonen franchise. The new gameplay trailer showcases the abilities of Tier Harrilbel, also known as Lady Halibel, the Tres Espada of Sōsuke Aizen's Arrancar army.
The trailer describes her as an Espada whose goal is to have a world without sacrifices. She becomes stronger the more she attacks enemies in a combo. According to the video, Halibel's abilities are characterized by overwhelming, unrelenting attacks that will leave the opponent no time to rest. Her Awakening power called Tiburon, which increases her attack performance, and changes her weapon from a dagger to a long sword, extending the reach of her attacks.
Previously, Bandai Namco revealed character trailers for Nnoitra Gilga, Ikkaku Madarame, Shuhei Hisagi, Sajin Komamura, Szayelaporro Granz, Sosuke Aizen, Shinji Hirako, Shigenkuni Genryusai Yamamoto, Mayuri, Grimmjow, Izuru, Renji, Soi Fon, Kaname Tosen, Rangiku, Ichigo, Rukia, and Uryu. Trailers highlighting the Bankai of Ichigo Kusosaki and the villainous Ulquiorra Shifar were also released. We can expect more character trailers for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls as we get closer to its release date.
What is Bleach: Rebirth of Souls about?
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, players unleash attacks to take down their opponents' Reishi. Cutting down one gauge of Reishi breaks down their opponent's Konpaku, which is represented by nine bars of health. Combos can be performed to break multiple Konpaku, and perform reverse actions while attacking and defending. Players can use accumulated spiritual power to unleash Spiritual Pressure Moves, and unlock powerful Bankai powers.
The story and characters of Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will cover the original manga's Substitute Soul Reaper Arc up to the Arrancar Arc. Bandai Namco Entertainment shared an official description of Bleach: Rebirth of Souls:
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls , players can engage in thrilling action-packed battles with iconic characters from the legendary anime franchise including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado (Chad). Players can use each character's moves, or Zanpakuto action, to knock down their opponent’s reishi in a 1 v 1 action battle, reducing their konpaku, or overall health bar. After damaging their opponent, players can unleash key combos to destroy multiple konpaku and turn the tide of battle. Accumulate Fighting Spirit while attacking to enter an awakened state and unleash a special move.
