Bandai Namco has launched BLEACH Mirrors High, a new mobile game that continues the story past the end of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The release date itself is part of the news: the launch day was only confirmed yesterday during Bandai Namco's Special Broadcast, and the game went live today, October 28.
Bandai Namco's official launch notice confirms the game is out now on iOS and Android as of October 28, 2026 (UTC). Pre-downloads opened ahead of the release, and the game became playable once its launch maintenance wrapped up.
The game is built around an original story set after the events of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, rather than retreading the arcs the anime already covered. Its opening animation comes from PIERROT FILMS, the studio behind the Thousand-Year Blood War anime's later cours, with a theme song titled CRITICAL performed by suisoh. The opening movie was unveiled alongside the launch date announcement, and the game itself is a free-to-play action title.
The Full BLEACH Mirrors High Launch Roster
The game's story introduces brand-new Soul Reapers designed by series creator Tite Kubo himself, and they headline a launch roster that runs alongside the familiar faces of the Gotei 13, giving the game its own cast rather than relying only on returning characters. The full launch roster is:
Ichigo Kurosaki
Uryu Ishida
Orihime Inoue
Yasutora Sado
Yoruichi Shihoin
Byakuya Kuchiki
Renji Abarai
Toshiro Hitsugaya
Rangiku Matsumoto
Mayuri Kurotsuchi
Rukia Kuchiki
Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez
Bambietta Basterbine
Shirin Migishima
Shirane Sanari
Naru Jurinna
Giro Hando
Maiko Tokishima
Players are not limited to the roster Kubo designed, either. BLEACH Mirrors High also lets players forge their own original Soul Reaper, building a character of their own to take into the game's post-war Soul Society.
That level of involvement from Kubo is a big part of the pitch. Mobile spinoffs often reuse existing designs, but here the series' creator has drawn an entire lineup of new Soul Reapers specifically for this story, and their introductions were a centerpiece of yesterday's Special Broadcast.
Aizen Headlines The First Limited-Time Gacha
The game's first limited-time gacha banner is headlined by Sosuke Aizen, the franchise's most iconic villain. Leading the very first banner with Aizen underlines where the game's story sits: after the war, with the Soul Society's most dangerous enemy once again at the center of events.
The timing could hardly be tighter for the franchise. The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime aired its finale only days ago, and BLEACH Mirrors High arrives while that ending is still fresh, carrying the story forward on phones instead of leaving fans at the anime's closing scene.
Bandai Namco sprung the date at the last moment on purpose: the Special Broadcast only confirmed the launch yesterday, turning the release into an event of its own rather than a date fans had circled for months. With pre-downloads opened the same day, players could be inside the game within roughly 24 hours of learning when it would arrive.
BLEACH Mirrors High is available now on iOS and Android.
