Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, an upcoming 3D arena fighting game based on Tite Kubo's popular shonen franchise. The latest trailer officially reveals that the game is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam) on March 21, 2025. The new gameplay video highlights familiar BLEACH characters like Ichigo, Rukia, Uryu, Renji, Byakuya, Mayuri, Yoruichi, Soi Fon, and other members of Soul Society. While the trailer mostly focuses on the in-game battles we can expect in the fighting game, we also get a preview of the English dubbed dialogue in the game. The trailer also teases the upcoming previews for Sosuke Aizen and Shigekuni Genryusai Yamamoto, so we can expect each of them to get their own character trailers soon. It also reminds fans of the preorder bonus: Thousand-Year Blood War costume set for Hitsugaya and Yoruichi.
Previously, Bandai Namco revealed character trailers for Mayuri, Grimmjow, Izuru, Renji, Soi Fon, Kaname Tosen, Rangiku, Ichigo, Rukia, and Uryu. Trailers highlighting the Bankai of Ichigo Kusosaki and the villainous Ulquiorra Shifar were also released. We can expect more previews for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls as we get closer to its release date.
What is Bleach: Rebirth of Souls about?
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, players unleash attacks to take down their opponents' Reishi. Cutting down one gauge of Reishi breaks down their opponent's Konpaku, which is represented by nine bars of health. Combos can be performed to break multiple Konpaku, and perform reverse actions while attacking and defending. Players can use accumulated spiritual power to unleash Spiritual Pressure Moves, and unlock powerful Bankai powers.
The story and characters of Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will cover the original manga's Substitute Soul Reaper Arc up to the Arrancar Arc.

In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls , players can engage in thrilling action-packed battles with iconic characters from the legendary anime franchise including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado (Chad). Players can use each character's moves, or Zanpakuto action, to knock down their opponent’s reishi in a 1 v 1 action battle, reducing their konpaku, or overall health bar. After damaging their opponent, players can unleash key combos to destroy multiple konpaku and turn the tide of battle. Accumulate Fighting Spirit while attacking to enter an awakened state and unleash a special move.
