Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new English-language character trailer for the upcoming Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, an upcoming 3D arena fighting game based on Tite Kubo's popular Bleach franchise. Developed by Tamsoft, the game is scheduled to release for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (via Steam). The trailer highlights the abilities of Rangiku Matsumoto, the lieutenant of the 10th Division of the Gotei 13.
The trailer describes Rangiku as a fighter who "combines straightforward Hado with counter-attacks to create opportunities to strike." and who "can turn her sword into ash and run freely across the battlefield." Here are Rangiku's abilities in the abilities:
Signature Move: Shakkaho - Fires a Shakkaho that travels at slow speed. If it hits, it can be used for a follow-upattack. It is a simple attack but has a lot of utility.
Spiritual Pressure Move 1: You're Too Slow1 - A counter move allowing Rangiku to come up behind her opponent and blow them away with her Shakkaho
Spiritual Pressure Move 2: Sokatsui - Thrusts both palms up and down and unleashes Sokatsui, an attack with weak range and speed, but high damage
Awakening - "Releasing "Shikai: Haineko", changes specific actions of Rangiku's figting style. Her Signature Move, "Haineko Spread", in a unique fighting technique that allows her to control her opponent's movement.
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, players unleash attacks to take down their opponents' Reishi. Cutting down one gauge of Reishi breaks down their opponent's Konpaku, which is represented by nine bars of health. Combos can be performed to break multiple Konpaku, and perform reverse actions while attacking and defending. Players can use accumulated spiritual power to unleash Spiritual Pressure Moves, and unlock powerful Bankai powers.
What is Bleach: Rebirth of Souls about?
The story and characters of Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will cover the original manga's Substitute Soul Reaper arc up to the Arrancar arc.

In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls , players can engage in thrilling action-packed battles with iconic characters from the legendary anime franchise including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado (Chad). Players can use each character's moves, or Zanpakuto action, to knock down their opponent’s reishi in a 1 v 1 action battle, reducing their konpaku, or overall health bar. After damaging their opponent, players can unleash key combos to destroy multiple konpaku and turn the tide of battle. Accumulate Fighting Spirit while attacking to enter an awakened state and unleash a special move.
A release date for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls hasn't been announced yet, but we know that it's "coming soon", and it was noted that the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime "inspired" the development of the game.
