Bandai Namco Entertainment has released new character trailer for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, an upcoming 3D arena fighting game based on Tite Kubo's popular shonen franchise. The latest character trailer showcases the unique moves of Kaname Tōsen, who was the blind captain of the 9th Division of the Gotei 13 until he betrayed Soul Society, alongside the villainous Sōsuke Aizen and Gin Ichimaru.
In the video, Tosen is described to be someone who "despises the world and has chosen to take justce into his own hands". Tosen specializes in counter-attacks, and his Bankai Awakening move, Suzumushi Tsuishiki, Enmakorogi, in the game brings back memories of his scenes in Kubo's manga series and its anime adaptation. What is Bleach: Rebirth of Souls about?
In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, players unleash attacks to take down their opponents' Reishi. Cutting down one gauge of Reishi breaks down their opponent's Konpaku, which is represented by nine bars of health. Combos can be performed to break multiple Konpaku, and perform reverse actions while attacking and defending. Players can use accumulated spiritual power to unleash Spiritual Pressure Moves, and unlock powerful Bankai powers.
The story and characters of Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will cover the original manga's Substitute Soul Reaper Arc up to the Arrancar Arc.

In Bleach: Rebirth of Souls , players can engage in thrilling action-packed battles with iconic characters from the legendary anime franchise including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Yasutora Sado (Chad). Players can use each character's moves, or Zanpakuto action, to knock down their opponent’s reishi in a 1 v 1 action battle, reducing their konpaku, or overall health bar. After damaging their opponent, players can unleash key combos to destroy multiple konpaku and turn the tide of battle. Accumulate Fighting Spirit while attacking to enter an awakened state and unleash a special move.
