Iman Vellani first stepped into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Kamala Khan in her very own series, Ms. Marvel, where she was introduced as one of the newcomers to the franchise. Much like Kamala who is a big fan of the Avengers, especially Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani is a fan, herself, too, of the MCU. The actress recently appeared in The Marvels which did not fare better in performance, thus, Vellani thinks that the MCU has to do something to get back to its former glory of the Endgame-level hype and she explains exactly what the franchise could go for.
The MCU immediately became a fan-favorite during its first three phases which ended in a massive film that became the highest grossing movie of all time at that point, Endgame. That concludes Phases 1 through 3 and with the franchise moving forward, Phase 4 and 5 witnessed a huge decline in the franchise's viewership. Recently, the lowest box office opening weekend was recorded with The Marvels but for one actress in the same film, the MCU just has to freshen up and bring back the audience to the MCU that they used to love.
Iman Vellani spoke with The Direct on what the MCU could do to get back on the saddle and hit the road once more as the top contender. Vellani revealed that the magic had to remain and that the MCU had to recapture such. She said:

Vellani added that having new characters open more possibilities for pair-ups and crossovers:
This statement of Vellani seemingly hints the upcoming team that her character, Kamala Khan, is building in the end of The Marvels. Unlikely pair-ups or crossovers could also pique the interest of the fans of the MCU so her idea is quite good, too.
When will Ms. Marvel return in the MCU?

Being a newcomer in the MCU, Iman Vellani still has a long way with the franchise and she is even being built up to be the one that brings one of the most anticipated teams in the MCU. In the post-credits scene of The Marvels, it was revealed that Kamala Khan is beginning the formation of the Young Avengers as she approaches Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop with the same words of Nick Fury when recruiting Tony Stark in Iron Man, and she even mentioned another potential member of the team with Ant-Man's daughther, Kathryn Newton's Cassie Lang. With the introduction of new characters in the MCU, the youngsters give a bright future for the franchise as they can continue carrying the torch that the MCU has built over the last 15 years.
While having a Young Avengers project seems to be a long way to go, the most probable return of Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/ Ms. Marvel could be in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty where the young heroes can show how the whole franchise is in good hands with the future they are building.
The Marvels is still in theaters worldwide.
