In a report from GameRant, an alleged voice memo from CEO Strauss Zelnick of Take-Two "revealed" the allegations mentioned above. The rumor brought a mix of fans who were made to believe and those who questioned its genuineness.
Fans who oppose to the genuineness of the voice clip were quick to point out that various AI-generating applications are now easily available, thus, the voice memo could be AI-generated. To support this, it was pointed out that Zelnick referred to the game as "GTA I-V" when it is more commonly known as GTA 6, and that the audio is confusing whether the release is on October 2024 or October 24th. The audio clip was later subjected to a copyright strike which, on the other hand, support those who believe in the truth of the statements made on the voice memo because putting it under such would suggest that there is some level of validity on the clip. The general public sided that the clips were AI-generated.

The fiscal year of 2025 would begin in April 2024 and the theory goes that the projected profit of the company is quite ambitious but not impossible because it could actually happen if there would be a huge release coming in their way. With GTA 6 on the horizon, the release of the game sometime within the said fiscal year could make the ambitious projection possible considering the number of gamers waiting for the release of GTA 6. The projection simply suggests that something big is coming everyone's way, something highly-anticipated like GTA 6.
