While Rockstar Games keeps the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 game a secret, some rumors and leaks from a gaming analyst have come up claiming that the game might feature 4 cities and 500 hours of gameplay. These rumors began with the release of GTA 5 back in 2013, but they only increased once the developers officially confirmed GTA 6’s development.

Although the much-anticipated announcement was a huge help, it did not reveal any solid information about what Grand Theft Auto 6 might look like. For example, the game’s setting still remains a mystery, and Rockstar Games hasn’t yet shared if the game is going to feature more than one protagonist like GTA 5 did. Furthermore, a release date has not been confirmed for the game.

Many fans believe that GTA 6 might occur in a classic series location such as Vice City since GTA 5 also took place in Los Santos, the popular GTA San Andreas setting. One fan even made a huge concept map for GTA 6, merging both Vice City and some locations from Red Dead Redemption 2. Michael Pachter, a games analyst, recently revealed a report on the SFTD Games YouTube channel (via Wccftech), claiming that Grand Theft Auto 6 will consist of several cities players can explore, with gameplay that might last up to 500 hours.

Pachter is currently the managing director of equity research at Wedbush Securities and thinks that GTA 6 started developing sometime around 2014 and 2015. He also expects that the game might even feature real and fictional locations, such as London, Vice City, San Andreas, and Liberty City. Not only this but there might also be several overseas destinations as well. Due to this huge scale and the complications it brings, Pachter believes that GTA 6 might have between four hundred to five hundred hours of gameplay.

Let’s just hope we don’t have to wait that long, and the developers do actually end up officially announcing the game this October, as many leaks suggest.
