Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, recently gave fans what they were eagerly waiting for in their latest financial report, i.e., a release date for GTA 6. According to reports, it seems like the company is rather hopeful that 2025 is going to be the year that the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game might launch.
After getting all of the game’s information from leaked images and footage for years, it looks like even the fans are ready for this official GTA 6 announcement. Unfortunately, Rockstar Games has been staying silent on the whole matter, leaving the fans to figure out when the game might actually be released. However, owing to the latest Take-Two Interactive financial report, there may be some new information worth checking out.
In the latest report by the Raymond James firm, it was reported that Take-Two Interactive is confident about its near and medium-term path forward despite its slow period in front-line releases. As per the firm, it might be due to the release trailers of GTA 6, “which should take away the most prominent point of uncertainty around the financial trajectory."
The information was shared in an MSN report, which also pointed out Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two’s chief executive officer, claiming that GTA 6’s release will take place during fiscal 2025. However, many leaks and rumors suggest that an announcement date might come on October 26 or October 21, so nobody really knows for sure when it might happen.
At this point, a 2025 release date can only be believed once we hear something official from Rockstar Games. A Reddit user also recently claimed that they have seen the official GTA 6 trailer, which features a look at the improved Vice City and a voiceover from the two new protagonists. Let’s just hope the developers actually end up revealing some details regarding the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game.
