Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks and rumors continue to get crazier, and one of the recent rumors claim that developer Rockstar Games will officially announce the game in October 2023, and there are also other theories that support the insider's report.

At the time of this writing, both Take Two Interactive and Rockstar haven't officially revealed a trailer and they haven't shared any gameplay details despite the huge leaks that have been circulating online. But the lack of information isn't stopping fans from asking, "Is GTA 6 coming in October 2023?" Let's take a look at the recent rumors.

Insider claims GTA 6 will be announced on October 26, 2023

An insider who goes by the name of Chris Marxx (@marxxchris on X) recently became viral for their tweet claiming that the GTA 6 announcement will be made on October 26, 2023.

It's unclear how their tweet has gone viral considering that they're not widely known to have a proven track record for these types of leaks. Looking at his X profile, you can see that Chris Marxx describes themselves as a "Video game specialist, gamer, programmer, developer, insider, analyst and critic," and his previous tweets also reported on updates for other games such as Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Assassin's Creed Mirage. It's unclear how reliable this source is since @MarxxChris doesn't seem to have a direct connection with Rockstar, but seeing how their tweet became viral, this rumor definitely has more weight than most we've seen yet.

Did Rockstar just tease fans about GTA 6 again?

On Friday, September 29, Rockstar Games tweeted out a new promotional image for GTA Online, and it didn't take fans a long time to notice what could be a pretty cheeky tease for Grand Theft Auto 6. In the image in question, a male and female character is seen in front of Los Santos' Vinewood sign. However, rather conveniently, the only portion of the sign that's visible to us are the letters "V" and "I" (the Roman Numerals equivalent to 6). The gaming community took this as a tease from Rockstar for GTA 6.

The moon in the image sparked another GTA 6 Theory

Of course, the insane theories don't just stop there. In the background of the image, a moon can be seen, and it's in its "Waning Gibbious" phase. As X user Dirty Worka pointed out, the moon will enter this phase in reality on Monday, October 2, 2023 and then again on Wednesday, November 1. Could this be a subtle tease for the potential GTA 6 announcement for this Monday?

Did Michael's actor in GTA 5 just tease GTA 6?

Ned Luke, the actor who voiced Michael in Grand Theft Auto 5, recently took it to Instagram Live to joke that GTA 6 is "coming out this Monday." Although that was clearly a joke, fans are wondering if his statement was a subtle hint, as the date coincides with the aforementioned theory.

Did Franklin's actor in GTA 5 and GTA 6's alleged voice actor just tease the game?

Last week, Bryan Zampella, the alleged voice actor of GTA 6's main protagonist, Jason, has shared a video with Shawn Fonteno, the actor who played Franklin in GTA V, and it features a mysterious briefcase.

We still don't know what's in the briefcase, but in a recent Instagram Live video, Michael's actor Ned Luke thinks that it's a copy of GTA 6. Watch the clip shared by X user @GTAVI_Countdown here:
