The galaxy far, far away returns to the big screens with their plans for the next movies that are happening soon. While there are already those that were announced before, the reveal of The Mandalorian & Grogu excites the fans of the franchise, especially those who followed the characters through the Disney Plus series, however, it came with some unsettling thought on the upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie which could be pushed back. New reports say that the film could be delayed indefinitely with the writer, Steven Knight, possibly leaving the project.

The upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie has been through a lot already even though it is still in its pre-production stage. Supposedly, it would be the first movie of the Lucasfilm after half a decade of focusing on Disney Plus shows but recently, it was revealed by the studio that The Mandalorian & Grogu will be coming first before the upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie. A disappointing update has been swirling around because of a new report from World of Reel which said that the film suffered an indefinite delay within the walls of Disney.

In the same report, it reveals that the upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie has been internally pushed back due to the writer of the film, Steven Knight, having some creative differences with the studio. The writer allegedly submitted his draft which Lucasfilm did not like which led to the frustration of the writer and the possibility that he could leave the project because of that. Before Knight, Damon Lindelof was the scribe of the upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie but was replaced in the midst of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
