Aside from the director of the film, the writer of the movie was revealed to be Steven Knight following the exit of Damon Lindelof. Production List reported that the upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie is eyeing for an April 2024 filming.
The upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars film is set 15 years after The Rise of Skywalker where the galaxy far, far away is still in chaos after the First Order which left the Jedi Order in shambles. Rey Skywalker is set to fulfill her promise to Luke about rebuilding what is left of the Jedi Order. Reportedly, the title of the film could either be A New Beginning or New Jedi Order but so far, Lucasfilm has not yet revealed the official title.
