Lucasfilm has been patient over the years when it comes to producing Star Wars contents and following the end of the last set of films, they focused on an experiment with the Mandoverse on Disney+ which proved to be successful as series kept the studio alive for years. Eyeing to end that drought on films is the Star Wars movie of Daisy Ridley which seems to be pushing forward as the production of the movie sets when the filming will commence. Timely as it may be, recently, it was revealed that the movie would reportedly get an update and here it is.

Daisy Ridley is bound to suit up once more as Rey Skywalker as her Star Wars movie is moving forward as one of the forerunners of cutting off the drought of Star Wars films over the past years. So far, her movie is doing well under its pre-production stage as progress has been shown for the movie. Now, Daisy Ridley's Star Wars movie seems to be eyeing a commencement date for the filming as per a production listing.

As revealed by Production List which is the production tracking saaervice of the Film & Television Industry Alliance, Daisy Ridley's Star Wars movie has finally landed a date to commence its filming and it would be staring on April 7, 2024 in London, United Kingdom. More often than not, these schedules are strictly followed, only subject to a few and minor delays, and that means that if the filming goes as planned, everyone might get to see Daisy Ridley's Star Wars movie by 2025 at the earliest.

Daisy Ridley is suiting up again as Rey Skywalker at a time when chaos is still in place after the First Order. As confirmed by Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, Daisy Ridley's Star Wars movie will be set 15 years after Rise of Skywalker which places the Jedi Order in shambles, something that Rey Skywalker could rebuild as her promise to Luke but that would surely be a challenging mission to do. The rumors on the title of the movie are either Star Wars: New Jedi Order or something like "A New Beginning."

Daisy Ridley's Star Wars movie will not only mark the return of Ridley as Rey Skywalker but she is also expected to bring with her some of her friends like the characters of John Boyega and/or Oscar Isaac who could be reprising their roles in the movie. Also, the film already had its script done by Thanksgiving as the new screenwriter of the project, Steven Knight, was only given until then to finish the whole script.
