Potential GTA 6 Ending Featured in Stunning Unreal Engine 5-Powered Concept Trailer

GTA 6 hasn’t even come out yet, and fans are already jumping ahead to know more about its ending!

The latest brand-new concept trailer for GTA 6 shows off a potential ending for Rockstar Games’ upcoming much-anticipated title. At the beginning of this month, Rockstar Games was forced to reveal the game’s first trailer a day before the planned date due to a massive leak that took place featuring the trailer’s leaked version.

The trailer has managed to set multiple records and beat the all-time views of the very first Grand Theft Auto 5 trailer. Not only this, but GTA 6’s trailer was also officially recognized by Guinness World Records for breaking three different records within 24 hours of its release. Since the trailer came out, fans have been looking at it from every possible angle to get more information on the game.

One fan even jumped ahead to figure out the ending of GTA 6 and they made a concept video for the game that shows its potential ending. The video was created by artist TeaserPlay with the help of Unreal Engine 5. The artist wrote, "I guess GTA VI ends with this tough choice and I tried to capture that thought with Unreal Engine 5." You can watch the video below:

Unfortunately, since it’s just a concept video, one shouldn’t rely on it too much. However, with the game releasing in 2025, we might just have to wait some more time to find out how the game ends (or even begins, for that matter). However, analysts from the Bank of America believe that the game will most likely get delayed. Analysts Arthur Chu and Omar Dessouky said last week, "The GTA 6 debut trailer, while exciting, did not contain elements that convince us that the game is well into alpha testing.”

Not only this, but the trailer also didn’t mention a PC version of GTA 6 coming out in 2025. However, considering how Rockstar usually releases PC ports for its games nearly a year or a year and a half later, players can expect the PC port to be released in 2027, assuming the game comes out in 2025.

What do fans think of Tom Petty’s Love is a Long Road being featured in the GTA 6 trailer?

Since the trailer came out, fans began investigating even the most minuscule of details, including the reason behind Tom Petty’s Love is a Long Road being chosen for the trailer. Many fans believe that the song hides a much deeper meaning of what the upcoming game’s story might be about. A user called Johnny Albuquerque said on GTA Forums:

“I think the lyrics of Tom Petty's song in the trailer could be a giveaway of some sort. It's about a dangerous girl messing with a guy's (Tom's) head. Lucia might take Jason through the dark path and he ends up dying or just giving up on her.”

The opening lyrics of the song might be from Lucia’s perspective, who was initially seen in prison and later with Jason in the middle of getting chased by police. However, since these are just theories and speculations, they shouldn’t be taken seriously. In a post shared on X regarding the song being featured in GTA 6, a fan commented that he feels "in GTA 6 the whole story is being narrated by Lucia's perspective in the prison and that will be the ending part of the Game's story.

Another user shared how the game's trailer "implies the general story for the game. Makes me more excited."

A user called @skeletatz shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) saying, "If you pay attention to the lyrics of the song and the message behind it, I think it could possibly potray a lot of the story between Lucia and Jason."
