The popular star Timothee Chalamet has shared his opinions on the recently released GTA 6 trailer. From the looks of it, Grand Theft Auto 6 might just be one of the most hit pop culture events ever to take place. More than ten years of excitement and hype are built around GTA 6, and Rockstar Games has officially begun the marketing for the game.
Regardless of the fact that the trailer was only one minute and 31 seconds long, theories and speculations are going wild regarding the game’s story, gameplay mechanics, and plenty of other things. It seems pretty evident that GTA 6 will blow up the internet, and if there’s any other game that’s set to launch during that time frame, it will most probably get drowned out.
The GTA 6 trailer has taken the internet by storm, with more than 140 million views on the official Rockstar Games channel alone and perhaps millions of others on other platforms/channels. So, it’s safe to say that a huge amount of people have viewed this trailer and seen what the upcoming much-anticipated game has in store for them.
One particular person is the popular Dune and Wonka actor Timothee Chalamet, who was recently speaking with IGN at the premiere of Wonka and was asked a couple of questions related to video games. For people who aren’t aware, Chalamet used to own his very own YouTube channel where he displayed Xbox 360 controllers, meaning he’s as much of a gamer as it gets.
The actor also appeared at The Game Awards 2023 in order to announce the Game of the Year award for Baldur’s Gate 3. With that being said, it really didn’t come as a surprise to anyone when we found out that Chalamet has also viewed the GTA 6 trailer. IGN asked him about his thoughts, and as it turns out, the star was quite excited about the game’s release, even though he was shocked to know about the long wait. Chalamet said:
What’s Timothee Chalamet’s Dune 2 about?
Dune 2 explores the story of the second half of Frank Herbert’s amazing original sci-fi novel. At the end of the first movie, we saw the boy-king Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) and his mother (Rebecca Ferguson) join the Fremen. Fortunately, it looks like we might just get more than seven minutes with Zendaya's Fremen character, Chani.
The upcoming movie will follow the story of Paul as he embarks on his journey of fulfilling his prophecy as he leads the Freeman of Arrakis in a battle against the House Harkonnen. This sequel is set to introduce some brand-new characters and storylines, providing fans with an eagerly awaited and epic cinematic experience.
GTA 6 is set to release in 2025 on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
