The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer broke records when it finally dropped the reveal of one of the most highly anticipated games of all time. The hype built up during the wait lived up to the trailer reveal and even after that regardless of the the two years of additional wait for the game to finally come out. Recently, a leak proved to be beneficial for the modding community as the GTA 6 trailer gets an awesome recreation in GTA V through its source code.
GTA 6 remains to be one of the most highly awaited games that even after Rockstar Games released its reveal trailer, the gaming community still shakes up the internet for more leaks on the information about the game. Earlier this weak, an Insomniac leak came out with the GTA V source code and the modders took this opportunity for their own benefit. On YouTube, RavenwestR1 made an attempt to recreate the GTA 6 reveal trailer in GTA V and just by the looks of it, one can easily point out how the sixth installment in the game series improved in its overall appearance. The clip of the trailer remake in GTA V by RavenwestR1 is extremely faithful to the GTA 6 trailer that it even includes the music used in the official trailer and even had the dialogue from the original clip. In the comments section, the fans of the game series noted how different the visuals of GTA V is as compared to GTA 6.
What details are confirmed for GTA 6?
While there remains a lot of things to be confirmed by Rockstar Games or the game itself once it comes out, there are details that are already confirmed for GTA 6 from the trailer and the press release by Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. It was confirmed that the game will be set in Leonida, the fictionalized state of Florida, and that Vice City will officially be back in the game series more than two decades after its first appearance. GTA 6 will have the most immersive evolution in the whole of the game series which will the a huge step for the franchise.
The platforms for the launch of GTA 6 were also revealed as it will be out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S but it would not be out yet for PC as it was not mentioned. The game protagonist will be a female Latina named Lucia and she will be with Jason, her partner in crime and possibly in life, too. Lucia's voice actress, however, has not been revealed yet but there is a possibility that she will be voiced by Manni L. Perez who also voiced an NPC in GTA V.
GTA 6 will be coming out in 2025.
