Aside from being a shooting game, Grand Theft Auto's prized features are the cars that the players can use as the game heavily involves driving around the city to complete missions or evade the police. A decade of wait brings the whole gaming community something to look forward to as Rockstar Games revealed the first GTA 6 trailer in December 2023. With this comes the various leaks here and there, and to make things more interesting, leaks also reveal what cars would be coming out of the game.
Since these details are considered leaks, take everything here with a grain of salt since Rockstar Games hasn't confirmed anything yet. A leaked gameplay footage came out with around an hour of gameplay revealed to the public and it featured various cars, both old and new, which could potentially come out on GTA 6. This footage was confirmed to be true by Rockstar Games but that does not mean that everything leaked would come out on the game as Rockstar Games could pull out an entirely different slate once GTA 6 officially arrives.
Understanding GTA Cars: Do the cars exist in real life?

Grand Theft Auto, as the name of the game suggests, includes automobiles which remains to be a pivotal piece of the game. While not directly the same as real-life cars, these cars on Grand Theft Auto are inspired by real ones. This decision of GTA to use cars inspired by real ones instead of use the real brands is because real life makers of cars wouldn't want to be associated with the crimes that are happening in the game and also to avoid copyright and legal issues.
Over the years, GTA has a plethora of cars available to use and surely, GTA 6 would be no different, except maybe featuring new cars and having a bigger number of car choices. To compare, GTA III has 56 vehicles, GTA Vice City has 102 vehicles, GTA IV has 177 vehicles, GTA San Andreas has 189 vehicles, and GTA V and GTA Online has more than 675 vehicles combined. From super cars, sports cars, muscle cars, bikes, vans, and the likes, Grand Theft Auto has its classification of cars based on where the cars are based on in real life:

Vehicle customization on Grand Theft Auto started in GTA San Andreas and Rockstar Games did an excellent job in bringing various vehicle customization options in GTA V so that players can personalize their vehicles of choice. Usually, customization includes personalizing both the engine and exterior design of the vehicles such as changing of color, plate, lights, engine, breaks, and the likes.
