Many rumors are currently going around online claiming that an announcement related to the upcoming GTA game might be made in the next week or so. In early November, Rockstar Games finally broke their long-term silence over the game and revealed that the trailer for GTA 6 will launch in early December. However, till that comes out, we still have our trusty old leaks and rumors to keep us company.
The latest rumor comes in the form of a new YouTube video by SanInPlay, an anonymous source that shared evidence of their relative working at Meta, claiming that a Facebook encrypted post is set to go live on December 3. Interestingly, the encrypted post suggests that the mastermind behind The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, and Rockstar Games Executive Vice President of Marketing, Mark Adamson, are likely to be the post’s “administrators.”
Even though December 3 falls on a Sunday, there’s a high chance that an announcement might take place on this very day. In the past, Rockstar Games also hinted at Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time on a Sunday (October 16, 2016). Therefore, a first teaser going live on December 3 in order to announce GTA 6’s reveal during this year’s The Game Awards is very much a possibility.
It’s important to note that these are only rumors and nothing has been officially confirmed yet by Rockstar Games, so it shouldn’t be taken seriously. However, even if Rockstar does not plan on making any GTA 6-related announcement on December 3, we still won’t have to wait much longer to finally get some official details on the upcoming much-anticipated game. This is because the developer has officially confirmed that the game will receive a trailer in early December.
What to expect from the GTA 6 trailer?
On the basis of some previous Rockstar Games reveals, players can expect the upcoming GTA 6 trailer to feature a look at modern Vice City with multiple scenes of the beaches, environment, and nightlife. Then, the trailer might introduce us to the game's main protagonists, which will reportedly be Jason and Lucia. Fans might get a glimpse of the two carrying out a robbery or while escaping from the police.
By the end, the official logo of the game will be revealed, hopefully along with an official release window or date. It's time we begin our timers and wait for the trailer to drop. The wait for the GTA 6 trailer to finally be revealed was quite long, but it’s good to know that it’s almost over. However, once that ends, the wait for the game will once again begin. So far, we have no information about the game’s release date, but many leaks and rumors suggest that the game will reportedly release sometime in 2025.
