The report reveals that Daisy Ridley will allegedly take home $12.5 million in the movie alone and the reporter said that the amount is an "eye-popping" figure that goes beyond the usual quote of the actress. Still, no matter what the cost, Lucasfilm surely had it all figured out and there remains no confirmation on these figures which are usually confidential, too.

The upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie was announced during the Star Wars Celebration 2023 by the president of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy. She revealed that this film will mark the return of Rey Skywalker in the movie scene after The Rise of Skywalker and it will be set 15 years after the said film where the Jedi Order is left in pieces. Rey Skywalker previously made a promise to Luke that she would rebuild the Jedi Order, or what is left of it, and make it great once more.
With such information shared by Kathleen Kennedy about the upcoming Daisy Ridley Star Wars movie, the film is often called as The New Jedi Order although there is still no official title for the project. Daisy Ridley revealed to AlloCiné that her Star Wars return is because of the new direction of the franchise. Other than that, it is also confirmed that Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will helm the movie with the script of Steven Knight.
Daisy Ridley's Star Wars movie is set to start filming in April 2024. The film has no release date yet.
