Light novel author SunSunSun shared a statement about the Roshidere Season 2 announcement:

Many congratulations on the decision to produce the second season of the Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian anime! This couldn’t have happened without the support of all our fans! Thank you all so much! The next part of Roshidere to be adapted is the summer vacation from the 4th light novel onwards, which makes me so excited. All the heroines will be causally wearing lighter clothes as they go to this event and that event! As summer vacation winds up … some dream-like moments? I wonder what they are going to do with that in the anime … ?

The first season of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian was directed by Ryota Ito (Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie), who also worked on the anime's series composition. Doga Kobo, the same animation studio behind Oshi no Ko anime, produced the animation for the series. Yuhei Murota served as the chief animation director and character designer.
