Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc marks the series’ final saga with its October 2 premiere on Japanese television and exclusive worldwide streaming on Disney+. The newly released trailer also debuts the opening theme IGNITE by JO1, underscoring the high-stakes return of Takemichi’s time-leap mission.
The new trailer highlights Takemichi’s arrival in a future where Hinata remains safe, only for that relief to give way to a darker reality involving Mikey’s changed path. Intense confrontations, time-leap references, and group tensions unfold alongside the debut of IGNITE, building toward the high-stakes conflicts of the final saga.
A striking new key visual has also arrived, showing a determined Takemichi in his black uniform with fist clenched as he stands before a larger, more distant Mikey in a long coat. The composition places the two former comrades in direct opposition against a dramatic purple and black backdrop, underscoring the shift in their relationship.
Maki Kodaira serves as director for the new Tokyo Revengers anime at studio LIDEN FILMS. Yasuyuki Muto oversees series composition, with character designs handled by Kenichi Onuki, Keiko Ota, Airi Tsuyuki, and Kanae Takakura, while Hiroaki Tsutsumi provides the music. The first season originally premiered in April 2021, and the second and third seasons followed in 2023.
What is Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans about?
Tokyo Revengers is the manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It ran in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine from March 2017 through November 2022 and collected into 31 volumes. Kodansha USA releases the digital English edition, while Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the physical print versions.
The War of the Three Titans arc advances the story into a volatile new era following the brutal end of the Tokyo Manji Gang’s clash with Tenjiku. Three dominant forces—collectively known as the Three Titans—now control the balance of power across Tokyo’s underworld, forcing Takemichi Hanagaki to navigate shifting alliances, fractured friendships, and the growing darkness within those he once fought beside. His time-leap abilities remain central as he races to secure a future where the people he cares about can finally live free from the cycle of violence.
With the premiere date locked and new promotional material setting a darker tone, Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc positions itself as the decisive chapter that will determine whether Takemichi’s long struggle can break the chain of tragedy once and for all.
