For more than four decades, Star Wars proved to be one of the strongest franchises to ever exist in the history of entertainment. While some would think that time would wear it down, it continues to expand and explore new possibilities. A new theory brings in the possibility of bringing in a new third galaxy in the future after what happened in Ahsoka.

Star Wars has built a legacy over the years and the future remains bright for the franchise as Ahsoka explores more about travelling between galaxies, bringing in the possibility of more intergalactic travels ahead. The series introduced Peridea to the franchise, the place where Grand Admiral Thrawn and Jedi Ezra Bridger stayed in exile for almost a decade. Going from one galaxy to another is now possible, a third galaxy in the near future would not be far from happening.

New updates reveal the possibility of having a third galaxy in Star Wars after the events of Ahsoka and with intergalactic travel now introduced in the narrative, it would not be a surprise if a new galaxy comes out in the near future. One of the next shows to come out for Star Wars is Skeleton Crew wherein Jude Law is set to play the protagonist in the time of the New Republic era. A synopsis for the upcoming series has surfaced online from the U.S. Copyright Databank:

In the first episode of the Skeleton Crew we are introduced to four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet and get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies, will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.

From the synopsis of the first episode of Skeleton Crew, it describes a strange and dangerous galaxy ahead for four kids who got lost and ended up somewhere different. Given the precedent that Ahsoka has set on intergalactic travel, the new adventures in the upcoming Skeleton Crew is quite likely to introduce a third new galaxy where the kids could have ended up. As they journey home, the kids are expected to encounter Jude Law's character

Had it been an existing galaxy in the current narrative of Star Wars, it would not have been described as a strange and dangerous one. That only means that this galaxy is yet to be seen on any of the vast titles of Star Wars. This is a huge hint to the possibility of the theory being true.

Skeleton Crew has no definite release date yet but it is expected to arrive before the year ends up to early 2024.
