There is little doubt that Ahsoka left a lot of things unfinished, teasing a possible renewal of the Star Wars series. However, the finale may have offered clues about what to look forward to in a different show. Here are the most interesting ways Ahsoka Episode 8 may have set up The Mandalorian Season 4.

Familiar Faces in Ahsoka and The Mandalorian

One of the coolest things about the Ahsoka finale was how it offered a glimpse at the reunion between Hera Syndulla and Ezra Bridger as the latter found his way to a New Republic ship. Although Episode 8 didn't feature Captain Carson Teva, there is little doubt that he will soon learn about Ezra's return from Peridea and that means he could be the one to tell Din Djarin about the developments in the New Republic. After all, he has already been established as the first major connection between Ahsoka and The Mandalorian and fans are already expecting Teva to reconnect with Zeb Orrelios in Season 4.

The good guys aren't the only ones to look forward to in The Mandalorian Season 4. The third season has already unveiled the enigmatic Shadow Council, a faction of the Galactic Empire biding their time for the return of Thrawn. With Ahsoka's finale laying the groundwork for Thrawn's reappearance, The Mandalorian's upcoming episodes are poised to delve into the council's dynamics under Thrawn's leadership, exploring the consequences of his long-anticipated resurgence.

Given Mando's history with Moff Gideon and his involvement with the New Republic, along with his connections to Ahsoka and Luke Skywalker, it's highly probable that their paths will intersect in The Mandalorian Season 4. The narrative seems poised for Mando to play a pivotal role in Thrawn's storyline.

Moreover, Ezra's mission to rescue Ahsoka and Sabine, potentially featured in The Mandalorian Season 4, presents an opportunity for Mando and Grogu to bridge the gap between Ezra and Luke Skywalker. With Ahsoka's network of allies and friends, it's likely that the series will leverage these connections to address the looming threat posed by Thrawn.

Additionally, Ahsoka featured interventions by Princess Leia and Anakin Skywalker, raising questions about Luke Skywalker's whereabouts. Given the escalating threat of Thrawn, the inclusion of Luke would not only serve the narrative but also contribute to his character's growth and development.
