Being in existence for almost half a century, Star Wars holds a plethora of actors bringing the stories of the galaxy far, far away to life in exciting shows and movies. The latest release of the franchise was Ahsoka where characters for Star Wars Rebels were brought into live-action in a thrilling series and among those is Ezra Bridger who was brought to life by Eman Esfandi. With dedication and confidence, the actor reveals that he knew he would have the role even before getting cast.
Eman Esfandi made his live-action debut in Ahsoka as the Jedi Knight Ezra Bridger with the other members of Star Wars Rebels such as Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren. The actor may have a different way to prepare for the role like not completely watching Rebels before playing Ezra Bridger, but he, indeed, made his own touch to the character. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Eman Esfandi revealed that he knew he would bag the role even before getting cast as Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka:
The self-tape audition of Eman Esfandi scored him the role and he even said that he felt that it came natural to him to play the part, "I only did one take for each of the scenes, and it just felt right. It felt natural. It felt like Ezra was really there, and I sent it in feeling pretty confident about them seeing Ezra right away. And they did."
When might Ezra Bridger return in Star Wars?

To date, there remains an uncertainty when Ezra Bridger will be back in Star Wars but what is sure is that Eman Esfandi will suit up again once the character appears in any of the upcoming Star Wars projects. There remains no confirmation yet from Lucasfilm whether there would be Ahsoka Season 2 but actress Rosario Dawson already revealed before that series creator Dave Filoni already outlined what's next for the series. This is the series where Ezra Bridger is most likely to return in but he can also appear in any title where the threats of Thrawn are present.
In Ahsoka Season 1, Ezra Bridger was in luck as he was able to escape Peridea and be reunited with Hera Syndulla and Chopper. However, this meant that he was the only one to get out of the place and that Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren were left behind. His future appearances could touch on how he and Syndulla would possibly do to combat the threats of Thrawn to the galaxy far, far away.
All the episodes of Ahsoka Season 1 are available to stream on Disney Plus.
