Star Wars has flourished over the years through various media from movies to games, and this time, it took over the small screens with the shows lined up for the franchise. Recently, Ahsoka took flight on Disney+ with a promising continuation and expansion of the galaxy far, far away and it has been well received by the fans that leaves everyone wanting more. Well, say no more, while there is no confirmation yet whether there would be Season 2, creator Dave Filoni has got everybody's backs with an outline for Ahsoka Season 2.
Ahsoka has been a huge addition to the ever-growing roster of Star Wars shows on Disney+ which garnered 14 million views for Part One in just five days from its release. The high viewership of the series continued until the end where Ahsoka secured the spot of the most streamed television series in all platforms across the US for five straight weeks! As huge as the show, Lucasfilm has not yet renewed the series for Season 2 but an exciting update already got in for the Star Wars show.
Dave Filoni recently confirmed that he has been promoted as the Chief Creative Officer of Lucasfilm and in the same interview with Vanity Fair, Ahsoka actress Rosario Dawson reveals that Dave Filoni is a man of action as he is already working on Ahsoka Season 2 outline even when the show is not yet officially renewed for another season. The finale of Ahsoka made sure to keep everything open so that in the case the series would proceed for a second season, the stage is already set for the beloved characters of the show. Ahsoka ended with the titular character, Sabine Wren, and Huyang stranded in Peridea where Ahsoka was being watched over by the spirit of Anakin's Force. Meanwhile, Ezra Bridger managed to escape Peridea and reunited with Hera Syndulla and Chopper through the Eye of Sion. From these stories comes where Ahsoka Season 2 could take off.
Ahsoka may have already set the stage for the feasibility of going from one galaxy to another, and possibly, soon enough, there could be a third galaxy which isn't far from happening, too. While there is still no Season 2 confirmation for Ahsoka, everyone remains hopeful for what comes next for the characters and the whole franchise as well as Star Wars dives deep into the intricacies of the galaxy far, far away.
All the episodes of Ahsoka are available to stream on Disney Plus. There is still no official renewal for Ahsoka Season 2.
