Star Wars Fans Believe Ezra Bridger Already Appeared in Ahsoka Episode 1

And no, we're not talking about Sabine Wren's hologram or the Star Wars Rebels mural

Ahsoka might be all about the titular Jedi but the Star Wars series is still very much about Ezra Bridger. After all, his presence was felt throughout the two-episode premiere of the Disney+ show. But is it possible that we have already seen Ezra without even knowing it? A new fan theory suggests that he already played an important role in the series premiere.

There is little doubt that Ezra Bridger was a huge part of Ahsoka's first two episodes although we didn't get to see him in the flesh. He appeared briefly in Sabine Wren's hologram and his image was featured in the iconic mural originally featured in Star Wars Rebels.

But was the live-action Ezra Bridger actually in the premiere? One fan theory suggests that the mysterious Marrok might actually be Ezra and that he has turned to the Dark Side. "Either way I think they’re gonna use him turning as a mirror to Ahsoka not being able to save her brother but she can help Sabine save her brother," they tweeted.

It's a sad and terrifying theory that would change things up both for Ahsoka and Sabine. It would certainly mean that the two will have to face off against Ezra by the end of the show and that's something that most fans have been dreading.

For now, this seems like a plausible idea but it's also best to remember that Ezra already managed to turn his back on the Dark Side. In fact, that's one of the major plot points in Star Wars Rebels. Still, there's the possibility that being away from his friends may have forced Ezra to change his mind. Either way, we'll have to wait until the next few episodes of Ahsoka to find out.
