What is Snowball Earth about?
Snowball Earth is the debut major serialized work by manga creator Yuhiro Tsujitsugu, born in 1994 in Hyogo Prefecture. Before entering the manga industry full-time, Tsujitsugu worked at a film company involved in promoting anime and other projects. They earned early recognition by winning an Honorable Mention in the 86th Tezuka Award in 2013 for an earlier work titled Gori Macho Heart.
A prototype version of Snowball Earth later secured the Spirits Award in 2019, paving the way for its official serialization in Shogakukan's seinen magazine Monthly Big Comic Spirits starting January 27, 2021.
