Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 is preparing to shift into its next phase after completing the opening stretch of episodes. Officials have now shared a promotional trailer focused on the storyline that follows, confirming the exact timing for its return to the airwaves.
Season 4 began with The Loss Arc on April 8 and will continue with the upcoming The Recapture Arc storyline. The new trailer features glimpses of the intense sequences and character moments that define this cour of the season. It officially confirms the return begins with Episode 12 on August 12.

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- is an isekai light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka. The story follows ordinary high school student Natsuki Subaru after he is suddenly transported to a fantasy world, where he repeatedly confronts death and struggles to protect those around him. The anime has steadily adapted the novels’ earlier arcs, focusing on Subaru’s growth, complex relationships, and the high personal cost of his unique ability.
The Recapture Arc picks up after the heavy losses suffered in Priestella, with Rem still asleep from Gluttony’s authority, Crusch missing her memories, and Julius stripped of his name. Subaru and his allies push toward the Pleiades Watchtower in the Augria Sand Dunes in search of the Sage Shaula, hoping her vast knowledge can help restore what was taken. The arc puts the group through brutal trials against the desert’s deadly environment, unknown threats, and the tower’s own defenses as they fight to reclaim everything.
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- remains available for streaming on Crunchyroll, which carries the full run of The Loss Arc episodes already released.
