The long-running Korean manhwa Overgeared, adapted from Saenal’s web novel by Monohumbug (REDICE STUDIO) and illustrated by Team Argo, receives its TV anime premiere on October 2. Production has paired the confirmed date with a second trailer and updated key visual that spotlight the Tzedakah Guild.
Re:name delivers the opening theme SATISFY, while TAO performs the ending theme Ray of Emotion. The latest trailer highlights Grid’s bold declarations of legendary skill, tense confrontations inside the VR world of Satisfy, item forging sequences, party recruitment moments, and high-energy combat that underscore how superior gear can overturn the odds.

The new key visual assembles the Tzedakah Guild members in dynamic combat-ready poses against a swirling purple magical backdrop. Grid takes the foreground in a white cloak while a red-haired archer, a heavily muscled fighter with a red scarf, and other armed companions frame him under the series title.

Ayako Kono, whose previous credits include Sword Art Online The Movie - Progressive, directs the project at studio J.C.STAFF. Series composition is handled by Kenta Ihara of Sentenced to Be a Hero, character designs come from Ryosuke Tanigawa of DEMON LORD 2099, and the score is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.

Everything changes when he stumbles across a tome containing the lost knowledge of a legendary blacksmith. The catch is, using it resets all his levels! In order to survive after being forced back to square one, Grid will need to hone his skills and gather reliable allies…or not! Who needs all that when you’re decked out in god-tier items?!
