It has been six years since Dragon Ball Super ended and Son Goku last appeared in a TV anime, but in just a few days, the fan-favorite shonen hero created by the late Akira Toriyama will finally return. Dragon Ball DAIMA, the new TV anime series that will feature Goku and Vegeta in their mini form, will premiere on October 11. While the trailers gave us an early look at Goku and other Z-Fighters' next adventure, plot details are mostly being kept under wraps, but now, a new synopsis may have revealed the main antagonist behind the conspiracy that caused the Saiyan hero and his friends to shrink to their mini forms.
Toei Animation, the studio that produced Dragon Ball DAIMA, has shared the official synopsis of the new anime's first episode, and it turns out that the unexpected transformation is caused by someone from the "Demon Realm". The blurb also mentioned a mysterious "young Majin", Glorio, who could be a major villain in the series. Here's the official synopsis for Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 1:
It's likely that Glorio will be the one telling Goku why they were shrunk early on, before Goku and his friends go on an adventure. Dragon Ball DAIMA will likely go back to its roots when it comes to its story, so we can expect them to go on a journey to find the seven Dragon Balls, so they could transform back to their grown-up forms.
