Netflix has officially set the premiere for the highly-anticipated second season of its live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE. Titled ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line, the new season will begin streaming exclusively on the platform on March 10, 2026.
The announcement was accompanied by a frosty new poster and preview screenshots that highlight the Straw Hat Pirates' arrival on Drum Island, a snow-covered destination that promises dramatic winter landscapes and intense challenges. Images show Luffy gazing thoughtfully from a window, while crew members Usopp, Sanji, and others bundle up against the cold, trudging through deep snow alongside Zoro and Nami.

Showrunner Joe Tracz described the setting in vivid terms: “Drum Kingdom is a winter island. It’s our medieval Winterfell Game of Thrones location, where you have this haunted-seeming castle at the top of a snowy mountain inhabited by someone the villagers say is a witch.”
Tracz also emphasized the expanded scope of the upcoming season: “Everything gets bigger. We are going to see giants and dinosaurs. We end up in the belly of a whale. Basically, our mantra for Season 2 is, ‘scale it all up.’”
Building on the narrative foundation laid in the first season, Tracz explained the thematic core of the new chapters: “At the end of the first season, our characters made this pledge around a barrel to achieve their dreams, and in Season 2, we put those dreams to the test. Every island we visit in the Grand Line is going to challenge one of the Straw Hats in a unique way, and they’re going to learn that, to fulfill their dreams, they have to rely on each other.”
Production on Season 3 is already underway, indicating Netflix's commitment to continuing the adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's beloved manga series.
The returning cast includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Season 2 welcomes a slate of new performers to embody pivotal characters from the Drum Island saga and beyond, including Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Sendhil Ramamurthy in a key role, and Mikaela Hoover as the voice of Tony Tony Chopper, with additional newcomers such as Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek and Anton David Jeftha as Kuromarimo.
The first season of the live-action ONE PIECE launched on August 31, 2023, and received widespread acclaim for its faithful adaptation, production values, and performances. It's currently streaming now on Netflix.
