Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for When Life Gives You Tangerines, which stars Park Bo-gum and K-pop star IU (Lee Ji-eun) in her second Netflix Original K-drama. The series is scheduled to premiere on Friday, March 7, and it will have a split release, a first for an exclusive Netflix South Korean drama.
When Life Gives You Tangerines is an original drama series directed by Kim Won-seok (Misaeng, Signal, and Arthdal Chronicles), and written by screenwriter Lim Sang-choon (Fight My Way and When the Camellia Blooms). The trailer showcases the complicated dynamic between the two leads. The K-drama follows the adventures of two different individuals: Ae-sun, “the remarkable rebel,” and Gwan-sik, nicknamed “unyielding iron,” through four vibrant seasons on Jeju Island.
