The Marvel Cinematic Universe has dived deep into making shows under Disney Plus to expand the franchise and explore the ins and outs of the narrative with the new characters introduced or see the other side of familiar faces. In Hawkeye, one of the new arrivals is Maya Lopez who is bound to get her own mini-series on Disney Plus. Despite the series being pushed back to a later release, rumors suggest that Echo will be getting a teaser trailer either tomorrow or over the weekend.
Echo may not be one of the much awaited MCU shows but that does not mean that the MCU is cancelling the series. There is still some hype on the series with the popularity of Daredevil and his nemesis, Kingpin, who are expected to appear in the show. Echo is bound to come out in a few months and with the Marvel tradition comes the teaser trailers before the official trailer arrives.
As shared by @CanWeGetToast on X (formerly Twitter), a teaser for Echo may be coming out soon with young Maya Lopez and Wilson Fisk in a flashback where they are getting ice cream and the vendor picks on Maya because she is deaf. Wilson Fisk has always been protective of her and treats her as his niece that he brings her into his business as the one who leads the Tracksuit Mafia. Of course, the insult to Maya did not sit well with Fisk and he "fixes the situation" with the ice cream man. This teaser is expected to arrive soon, either tomorrow or over the weekend after the fifth episode of Loki Season 2, or during the release of The Marvels. See the post below:

Marvel's Echo will be following Maya Lopez as she deals with her past through returning to her hometown after what happened in Hawkeye. Maya is set to reconnect with her roots as she comes into terms with her past, especially with Kingpin being her uncle and after she discovers the gruesome things that he did in the past. As to how and why Maya became part of the criminal underworld of her uncle, this is also expected to be dealt with in the series which makes the return of Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin inevitable.
Echo stars Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez/ Echo, Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/ Kingpin, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/ Daredevil, Chaske Spencer as Henry, Cody Lightning as Cousin Biscuits, Tantoo Cardinal as Chula, Devery Jacobs as Bonnie, Graham Greene as Skully, and Zahn McClarnon as William Lopez.
Echo is expected to set up the stage for Daredevil: Born Again. The series is bound to arrive on Disney+ in January 2024.
