Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is up ahead on full steam as it continues to set up the Multiverse Saga with the next big bad of the franchise, Kang the Conqueror. Familiar faces are returning and new characters are about to be introduced as well. As they enter into the streaming world with original series, here are the shows that are coming next after Loki Season 2.
After the end of the Infinity Saga with the Avengers defeating Thanos in Endgame, a new era begins as the franchise enters into the Multiverse Saga where it is expected that the next big villain would be Kang the Conqueror. The MCU opened its doors for more possibilities with Disney+ shows to share what happens to each of the characters in between the movies. These series either introduce a new character or explore more the life of an existing one.
Phase Four was all about the aftermath of Endgame where some of the series deals with how the heroes coped with their losses like WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and some others introduced new characters like Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel. Now in Phase Five, things get more serious as the franchise nears the peak of its narrative. After Loki Season 2, check out what shows to look forward to on Disney Plus.
Following the various delays as a result of the ongoing strikes of writers and actors, a recent copyright filing (via The Direct) of Marvel Studios revealed the new release windows or dates of the upcoming shows of the franchise. See the updated release dates of each series!
