He is involved in GTA 6 but it turns out that getting such a job means having some unlikely consequences.

When the word got out that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be happening, the whole gaming community has been on their toes for more information about the upcoming highly anticipated game. Now, a new information has been confirmed by someone who is involved in the upcoming project but he also revealed that there are repercussions in taking up the job.

Is T-Pain involved in GTA 6 and what is his role in the game?

Recently, a clip has been roaming around social media with the TikTok video posted by @jmag.e where T-Pain responded to the question on why he no longer appears on the NoPixel server lately, and this is the response of the well-known rapper:

How about this sh**? I used to be on NoPixel, and then I started working on the f**king, on GTA 6 , and they told me I couldn’t do RP any more because it kind of goes against... They had this whole speech, like, ‘What if somebody took your album and re-recorded it, and more people were listening to that?’ Then I’m like, OK, I kind of get that, but I was having a good time! All right, that’s fine.

To those who are not aware, NoPixel is one of the most popular and first of its kind roleplay servers which cater unlicensed mods of GTA Online. T-Pain has requested to Rockstar Games not to draw attention to these serves by playing. However, because of the popularity of these servers, Rockstar Games found a way to circumvent things in 2023 by acquiring Cfx.re, the one behind the FiveM mod of Grand Theft Auto V and RedM mod of Red Dead Redemption 2 where NoPixel was based on, along with may other servers.

In the same TikTok clip, T-Pain also confirmed something ironic -- he was banned from playing on the abovementioned servers when he got involved in GTA 6, here's what the rapper said:

I start working on the game with them, and then they teamed up with the people that kind of like make the RP sh**! And I’m like, wait a minute, what? What the f**k? [laughs] Y’all told me I couldn’t do this sh** then y’all team up with the people that enable the RP? Anyways, whatever!

While T-Pain did not reveal the capacity of which he is involved in GTA 6, the rapper already confirmed that he is working with Rockstar Games for the upcoming game. The rapper could contribute in various ways like bringing songs to the game or being a consultant to the soundtrack of it, the rapper could even have an acting role, something like a DJ, or possibly a cameo appearance. Nonetheless, T-Pain is already involved in GTA 6 and that is what's sure.
