Nearly five years after being in development, fans finally got a look at the game when Rockstar Games released the trailer earlier this month.
While Rockstar initially planned to release the trailer a day later, they were forced to reveal it earlier because of a leak that took place. So, to prevent fans from watching its leaked version, they went and officially launched it, although they were quite upset about it. Regardless, the hype around the game is definitely real, so much so that fans have made a petition to skip the entire year of 2024 simply because they cannot wait to get their hands on the video game.
The petition has managed to get more than 20,000 signatures so far. The petition was posted on Reddit and has become the focus of attention online, with many GTA fans expressing the same sentiment. On the other hand, many fans still think that they won’t even get a 2024 release since Rockstar Games is just going to delay it.
One Reddit user said, “Game is going to get delayed till 2026,” with another one saying, “You all know this will be pushed to 2026, right ?” Some others joined in, sharing the same concerns, stating, “Not coming to PC until 2028 anyway.” The rest just don’t mind waiting since they believe that the wait for GTA 6 will be exciting and waiting for the upcoming game is going to be worth it. One user said, “Nah... just enjoy the time leading up until then!”
When will the next GTA 6 trailer come out?
The first-ever trailer for GTA 6 shocked the entire Grand Theft Auto community. It gave us our first look at the game and left us wanting more. Now that it’s been some time since its release, fans are beginning to speculate when the next trailer from Rockstar Games will come out. In his search for an answer to this, Reddit user 27guy looked at the car in the official GTA 6 poster.
He theorized that the bullet holes that can be seen on the car’s body are actually a hint towards the release date of the game’s next trailer. This seems like a compelling theory, and if it turns out to be true, we will receive the next GTA 6 trailer in September 2024.
GTA 6 is set to come out in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
