A member of the Grand Theft Auto community has created their own version of the GTA 6 map, which shows where exactly players might find the locations featured in the first trailer.

One of the GTA 6 fans recently created the game’s map model, which can also be downloaded. Similar to GTA 5, the community has brought their heads together for an exciting mapping project. While eagerly waiting for the game’s release, they have been keeping themselves busy by figuring out what the game’s map would look like.

Taking some parts from the massive GTA 6 gameplay leaks that took place in 2022, the community was able to bring some pieces of the map into view. The game’s first official trailer also provided them with enough information and allowed them to make the map a bit more accurate. A fan gave an example of the real-life Loews Hotel in Miami that can be seen in four different shots during GTA 6’s trailer.

Regardless of the game being in its early stages, plenty of progress has been made in a brief time. Moreover, it’s worth pointing out that what can be seen in the game’s trailer might change by the game’s release in 2025. While the GTA 5 trailer was amazing, it did contain shots that didn’t have some parts of the map featured in it. The latest leaks also suggest that GTA 5 did change in the last couple of years before release.

Despite the inaccuracies present in the map, it’s still quite exciting to watch the video and imagine what it would actually be like. GTA 6’s map already seems quite a difficult one to figure out because of its scale and wide range of content, but that’s what adds to the excitement. YouTube user Dark Space created the map’s 3D model based on everything featured in the game’s trailer.

On top of this, it also gives us the chance to view the game’s open world from several perspectives. The user also placed his map on the trailer, so fans can see the similarities and see the rough placement for the locations. Dark Space also compared the GTA 6 map’s size with GTA 5's and GTA 4’s, making it clear that Leonida is much bigger than those maps.

A huge part of San Andreas looked like Los Santos, but there seems to be a lot more variety in the Leonida map. The 3D model suggests the whole GTA 6 map and Los Santos can easily fit in Vice City, which features more water. Dark Space has also published his model, which can be easily downloaded from here, meaning anyone who might be looking to work with him on this project can do so. He also gave permission to use it in their own content, but one should definitely give him credit.

What other locations might GTA 6 feature?

Rockstar Games refuses to reveal any more locations besides Leonida and Vice City. When the devs don’t reveal information, we turn to leaks and rumors, which claim that the GTA 6 will be much more massive as compared to the other Rockstar games and is going to feature plenty of locations. Some parts of the map were leaked during last year’s massive leak, whereas some of it was revealed through separate leaks.

Some leaks claimed that the GTA 6 will allegedly be a lot bigger than the GTA 5 map. Moreover, another leak suggested that the much-anticipated game will also explore other Central and South American regions. However, none of these leaks and rumors haven’t been officially confirmed yet, so one shouldn’t take them seriously.
