The record-breaking GTA 6 trailer gets another recreation from a creative fan, and this time, it's in Cyberpunk 2077's Night City.

It's been more than three weeks since Rockstar Games gave everyone their first official look at Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of its vague 2025 launch date. As of today, the minute-and-a-half trailer has been watched 161 million times on Rockstar's official YouTube channel alone, and it's already broken world records. Now, some creative fans have dedicated a significant amount of time to recreate the iconic trailer featuring Tom Petty's Love is A Long Road song in various games, format, and style, including previous GTA games, Minecraft, Fortnite, and more.

Now, one fan has made a futuristic version of the first GTA 6 trailer by recreating the video in Cyberpunk 2077, the popular open-world science fiction game from the developers that brought us the critically-acclaimed The Witcher games, CD Projekt Red. Instead of showcasing Leonida, Rockstar's version of the state of Florida, and its Vice City (Miami), YouTuber pyro_lc takes us to Night City to show us what a Cyberpunk 2077 trailer would look like if it used the same music and format as the first GTA 6 trailer.

If you compare the Cyberpunk 2077 recreation to the original GTA 6 trailer, you can see that there are significant graphical differences between the two. Rockstar's highly-anticipated game is obviously superior, with Cyberpunk 2077's graphics looking outdated compared to GTA 6, which shouldn't surprise fans. After all, CD Projekt originally launched Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020, and GTA 6 won't be released until 2025.

What other games have been used to recreate the GTA 6 trailer?

Other than previous Grand Theft Auto games such as GTA 4, GTA: Vice City, and GTA 5, fans have also recreated the GTA 6 trailer in Rockstar's other masterpiece, Red Dead Redemption 2. We've also seen multiple LEGO versions, and other recreations in Minecraft and Roblox. Of course, some fans have also recreated the GTA 6 trailer in Fortnite, and there's a weird recreation in Sims 4 from YouTuber DrGluon, which you can watch below:
