The anime adaptation of Hiroaki Nagashima's Goodbye, Dragon Life fantasy light novel series has released a new trailer and key visual featuring the reincarnated dragon protagonist, Dolan, and the three women surrounding him through the village in a peaceful atmosphere. The production team also revealed the anime's release window in Japan: October 2024. The project was announced in March of this year. Watch the trailer for Goodbye, Dragon Life below:

The trailer also revealed two additional Japanese voice cast: Akane Matsunaga (Aine Yuuki in Aikatsu Friends!) as Airi, and Ayaka Ohashi (Uzuki Shimamura in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS) as Christina. They will be joining the previously announced Shunsuke Takeuchi (Jean Yunghart in Metallic Rouge) as Dolan and Hitomi Sekine (Ellis Seifort in Berserk of Gluttony).

As for the main staff, Kenichi Nishida (PAPUWA) is directing Goodbye, Dragon Life anime at SynergySP and Vega Entertainment animation studios. Naokatsu Tsuda (Tokyo 24th Ward) is the series composer, Nozomi Nawashige is the main character designer, and Saiki Tatsuhiko and Hanae Nakamura are the music composers.
What is Goodbye, Dragon Life about?
Goodbye, Dragon Life anime is based on the light novel series of the same title (Japanese: Sayonara Ryūsei, Konnichiwa Jinsei) written by Hiroaki Nagashima and illustrated by Kisuke Ichimaru. Twenty-four volumes have been published by AlphaPolis since April 2015. The series also received a manga adaptation with art by Kurono, and it has been serialized online via AlphaPolis' manga website since December 2015 and has released twelve volumes.
