Disney Plus Japan has revealed that the second season of Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation, subtitled Episode of Savanaclaw, will begin streaming exclusively in December 2026. The announcement confirms the continued adaptation of the popular mobile game into a multi-season anime project centered on the students of Night Raven College.
A new teaser visual has been released alongside the premiere window, carrying the tagline “The mischief begins.” In the artwork, Leona Kingscholar (CV: Yuichiro Umehara) sits front and center, flanked by Ruggie Bucchi (CV: Aoi Ichikawa) and Jack Howl (CV: Taito Ban). The image highlights the lion-themed dorm and its key residents as the focus of the upcoming arc.
The first season of the Disney Twisted-Wonderland anime, which reimagines classic Disney villains as attractive young men, consisted of eight episodes and launched on Disney+ on October 29, 2025. Plans are already in place for a third season carrying the subtitle Episode of Octavinelle.
Series composition duties fall to Takahiro Natori, whose credits include TOKYO MEW MEW NEW, and he also takes on the role of chief director. Direction is handled by Shin Katagai, previously behind The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party, Became Invincible, with production split between Yumeta Company and Graphinica. Main writing comes from Yoichi Kato, while Haruka Nakano and Akane Sato handle the animated adaptation of character designs originally created by Yana Toboso of Black Butler.
