Welcome to Wrexham recently made it big in the Creative Arts Emmys last week with four awards won. The series is headed by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney who both accepted the award through a video and the former did it in a hilarious way through wearing his Deadpool suit underneath a suit. Unfortunately for Rob McElhenney, Ryan Reynolds turns him down for a spot in the X-Force with Deadpool 3 coming soon in theaters.
The football club-owning duo, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, made a successful run with Welcome to Wrexham as they bagged four awards in the recently concluded Creative Arts Emmys. On X (formerly Twitter), @BossLogic congratulated the duo in a hilarious meme from a scene in Deadpool 2 with Ryan Reynolds holding a photo of Rob McElhenney topless and Rob has the reaction of "huh" on his face. Reynolds and McElhenney had an exchange after the post where McElhenney asked if he should frame the meme and Reynolds just turned his hopes down in joining the X-Force in the most hilarious way saying, "I don't think you wanna join X-Force. In Deadpool 2, the X-Force was a hit albeit having a short time in the movie. The team faced an unfortunate landing which led to almost all of them facing their demise in the most hilarious way possible. The only ones who made it alive are Deadpool, Peter, and Domino. Only Deadpool and Peter are returning in Deadpool 3 as Zazie Beetz confirmed to Decider that she will not reprise her role as Domino in the upcoming movie.
When is Deadpool 3 coming out?
Deadpool 3 is the first jump of the Merc With A Mouth into the MCU and it is the only movie of the franchise that will be coming out this year. Should there be no further delays, Deadpool 3 is coming out in theaters on July 26, 2024 and it is officially part of Phase Five of the MCU. As of the time of writing, Deadpool 3 is still doing some reshoots because of the delays that it faced during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes last year.
While there remains no official synopsis for the upcoming movie, Deadpool 3 has left some crumbs for the people to speculate on what the movie will be about. There's Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine teaming up as they seem to face a journey together. From the leaked photos, there were hints of time or reality travel which could connect Deadpool 3 to the larger narrative of the MCU.
