Over the last few days, various set photos of Deadpool 3 were released and some of those images seemingly spoiled some of the scenes that would be in the upcoming movie. There were some pictures that revealed who would do some cameo appearances and some that connects the movie to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Finally, Merc With A Mouth actor Ryan Reynolds broke his silence on the wave of photos that came to the attention of the public and he does not seem happy about the matter.
Deadpool 3 is the only MCU movie coming out in 2024 which puts it high on the list of films being much anticipated next year. More than the fact of the film itself, it would be one of the first Fox properties to enter the MCU and join the bigger franchise after the merger of Fox and Disney. Unfortunately, over the weekend, set photos of Deadpool 3 were leaked online which spoiled some pivotal scenes that could be fatal to the surprises of the movie, and Ryan Reynolds took it on Instagram to break his silence regarding the issue. He started with an explanation on why Deadpool 3 is shooting outdoors which makes it prone to bystanders and leaks:
Surprises are part of the magic of theatrical movies. It's important for us to shoot the new DEADPOOL film in real, natural environments, using practical effects as opposed to making the movie indoors and digitally. Telephoto lenses continue to spoil surprises and create a difficult situation for everyone.
Reynolds added a bit of his classic puns with a touch of sarcasm as he hoped that the set photos would help the sites that leaked the scenes:
Here's hoping some of the websites and social channels hold back showing images before they're ready. The film is built for audience joy – and our highest hope is to preserve as much of that magic as possible for the finished film and the big screen. Part of the reason people post spoilers is because they're excited. I realize these aren't real world issues and it's firmly in the 'good problems' bucket.
He ended with the statement, "I love making this movie." With such a tone from Ryan Reynolds, it hints a bit of disappointment on him being the lead character of Deadpool 3 and the man behind the wits and humor of the film. Check his full reaction below:

Deadpool 3 has been keeping the silence on what the movie will be about for as long as they could hold. However, various leaked photos of Deadpool 3 spoiled some major scenes and cameo appearances such as the images of Sabretooth being in the movie and facing a gruesome fate in the hands of Deadpool and Wolverine, the cameo of Toad from the original X-Men movies, and the vehicles from Moon Knight, Fantastic Four, Captain America: The First Avenger which connects Deadpool 3 to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. With such hints on random connections from random Marvel titles, one could speculate that Deadpool 3 would involve some reality hopping and time travelling.
