This time, the set photos of the upcoming MCU movie reveal that Deadpool 3 is a perfect fit for the MCU as it connects to different projects like Loki, Fantastic Four, Captain America, and the X-Men trilogy. Deadpool 3 is the only MCU movie arriving in 2024 and it makes sure that despite being the only one to come out that year, it would be packed by tons of connections to the rest of the MCU as the movie could weave the connection between the Marvel titles under Marvel Studios and Fox. As the production of Deadpool 3 is ongoing, set photos of the movie surfaces one by one and even spoils some scenes like the gruesome fate of Sabretooth whose set photos were dropped online by The Mirror over the weekend. Now, new sources reveal the connection of Deadpool 3 to other Marvel movies.
How do these set photos reveal what Deadpool 3 is about?
First up are the set photos from @HabisNontonFilm on X (formerly Twitter) which reveals the connection of Deadpool 3 to Captain America: The First Avenger and Moon Knight. One photo shows a similar vehicle that the Red Skull used in Captain America: The First Avenger. From the looks of it, it seems to be the same car model, the 1942 V16 Coupe. The other photo connects Deadpool 3 to Moon Knight which features a similar cupcake truck drove by Marc Spector in his own titular series.
Second are the set photos from @CanWeGetToast on the same social media platform which connects Deadpool 3 to three Marvel titles. There's the one with the TVA Minutemen from Loki. The other set photo seemingly shows a vehicle same as the Fantasticar used by the Fantastic Four, and it is being driven by Toad from the original X-Men trilogy.
The plot details of Deadpool 3 remains unknown but looking at how much MCU content are connected to the movie, it hints to Deadpool having an adventure throughout the different Marvel movies and series. It would be not surprise if Deadpool would be doing some time travelling or alternate reality hopping for that matter. Still, the best confirmation is when the official synopsis comes out.
