We're only a few months away from the premiere of the anime adaptation of Hisaya Amagishi's Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools (Madougushi Dairya wa Utsumukanai: Kyou kara Jiyuu na Shokunin Raifu) light novel series, and to get fans more excited for its July 2024 premiere, the production team has released a new trailer previewing the opening theme song titled Chiisana Tsubomi, which is performed by Nako Misako. The anime's ending theme song is titled Glitter by Marina Horiuchi.
A new anime key visual for Dahlia in Bloom was also revealed along with additional characters and cast members. The new art features Dahlia, Volfreas, and a young Dahlia surrounded by magical tools and flowers.

It was previously announced that Saori Ōnishi and Atsushi Tamaru are voicing Dahlia and Volfred, respectively. Additional Japanese voice cast members includes:

Hiroki Takahashi (Takato Saijou – DAKAICHI) as Ivano Badoer
Typhoon Graphics (Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke’s Mansion) and Imagica Infos are producing the anime, with Yousuke Kubo making his TV anime series directing debut while Yuichiro Higashide (16bit Sensation: Another Layer) is working on the series composition. Other staff includes Satomi Kurita (Peach Boy Riverside) as the character designer and Kou Ootani (Another) as the music composer.
What is Dahlia in Bloom about?
Published under KADOKAWA's MF Books label, the Dahlia in Bloom light novel series, written by Hisaya Amagishi and illustrated by Kei, started serialization in October 2018 and currently comprises eight volumes as of June 2022.
There's also an ongoing manga adaptation (Magic Artisan Dahlia Wilts No More) by Megumi Sumikawa, which is serialized in Comic Blade magazine and was licensed as Magic Artisan Dahlia Wilts No More (Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai: Dahlia Wilts No More) by Seven Seas Entertainment. Volume 6 of the series is scheduled to release on August 31.
