The official YouTube channel of Aniplex has released a new trailer for Wind Breaker Season 2, which will adapt the KEEL Arc of Satoru Nii's martial arts adventure manga series. A new key visual was also released along with the anime's April 3, 2025 premiere date. Recently, it was announced that the performer of Season 2's opening theme song is the Japanese idol boy band SixTONES; while the rock band shytaupe is performing the ending theme song, It's myself.
The KEEL Arc will follow the Bofurin first-years going against the KEEL, and the action-packed trailer features members of the KEEL, including the leader Shingo Natori. The VIP members of the delinquent gang: Takeru Kongo, Shyu Kirishima, Taishi Mogami, Renji Kaga, and Hansuke Tone also appear in the trailer. The intense Season 1 finale was simply a prologue as Haruka Sakura and his friends get ready for a brutal showdown. Much of the footage shows Sakura and his gang brawling against the KEEL in the warehouse base. The trailer also features a preview of the ending theme song.

What is Wind Breaker about?
The anime is based on the Wind Breaker manga series written and illustrated by Satoru Nii, which debuted in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket in 2021. As of September 2023, 13 volumes have been published. The series was among AnimeJapan 2022‘s most desired works to receive an anime adaptation. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in North America, and print copies were published in the region recently.
Kodansha USA provided a description for Wind Breaker:
Haruka Sakura wants nothing to do with weaklings—he’s only interested in the strongest of the strong. He’s from Fuurin High School, a school of near-dropout degenerates known only for their brawling strength. And in a town known for its territorial disputes, Haruka’s got only one goal—become the hero his town deserves.
