There is a bright future up ahead the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the next generation of heroes as finally arrived. It has long been rumored that the Young Avengers are coming to the franchise and it is now here as The Marvels bring it to the table with familiar faces starting the group up. Their debut has already been teased in the most classic Marvel way possible.

The original Avengers team are now cut up in half following the death of Iron Man, and Black Widow, and the retirement of Steve Rogers. The only ones left are Hawkeye which may have already passed the baton in his own titular series, Hulk who has brought in his family to the MCU with his son and Jennifer Walters as She-Hulk, and Thor who may still have something left in the MCU but may proceed to retirement, too. While there remains other heroes, the young guns are about to step in as the Young Avengers made their debut in The Marvels.

In the post-credits scene of The Marvels, it seems that the recruitment for the Young Avengers has already started with Kamala Khan visiting Kate Bishop from her night patrol shift with Pizza Dog. Kamala drops the bomb on Kate the same way as Nick Fury did in Iron Man. Kamala did some name dropping, too, as she takes out the name of Cassie Lang, daughter of Ant-Man. Kate said she would think about it before the scene was cut off.

Xochitl Gomez who plays America Chavez in the MCU spoke with ComicBook.com about the team-up of the Young Avengers and said:

It would be pretty awesome to have a pretty young, diverse cast altogether. Just the thought of that is pretty awesome. Just knowing that we all support one another. And I saw Kathryn [Newton], she came to [ Dancing With the Stars ]. It's just one of those things that it would be nice to have a fun moment altogether.

The Young Avengers are fresh faces that everyone has already seen here and there in the MCU. As per the post-credits scene of The Marvels, there is Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) who goes by the name of Ms. Marvel and she is the one recruiting the others. It fits her perfectly being the Avengers geek among the others, she loves the heroes so much that she has a vlog about them. Then, there's Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) who is the next marksman of the team being the prodigy of Hawkeye himself.

As mentioned, there's Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) who got her first taste of action with her father in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Other members may have already appeared in other shows like Riri Williams/ Ironheart (Dominique Thorne) who first appeared in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and is getting her very own series soon, Eli Bradley/ Patriot (Elijah Richardson) from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wiccan and Speed who are the children of Wanda Maximoff in WandaVision, and America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
