With a few more months away from the release of the highly-anticipated movie The Marvels, it has been reported that the MCU movie might get postponed. Some insiders who are familiar with the release schedule of Disney claimed that the company is planning to push back multiple 2023 releases because of the WGA and the SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The main reason for this supposed delay is the fact that performers and creative teams won’t be able to promote their movies as per the union’s request. Regardless of these claims, many still believe that The Marvels might still end up releasing on November 10, which is its original release date, considering that the movie's marketing is already past the point of delaying the movie.

According to a report from Bloomberg, the discussion of delaying The Marvels is still at an early stage, and nothing has been officially announced by Disney or Marvel Studios. A number of other projects will reportedly get delayed alongside The Marvels, such as Poor Things, Next Goal Wins, Wish, and Magazine Dreams, which are all set to release this year.

The Marvels is set to serve as a sequel to multiple MCU projects, mainly Captain Marvel, WandaVision, Ms. Marvel, and Secret Invasion. In this movie, fans will see the inevitable team-up of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) under the supervision and leadership of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson).

In this story, the three heroes will join forces to fight against a major galactic threat in the form of Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton), who seeks to control the universe. Fans will watch the three as they learn to interact with each others’ powers and grow together. Since their powers have somehow ended up mixing together, they will navigate how to depend on each other and work together for the greater good.
