Disney+'s Star Wars: Ahsoka has now aired three episodes, introducing both new and animated characters to the franchise. The series showcases several characters wielding lightsabers, including the first-ever live-action depiction of two women engaging in a lightsaber battle.

Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) wields her white duel sabers from the animated shows, while Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) utilizes the green lightsaber previously owned by Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi). Villains Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno) and Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) possess orange sabers, and the enigmatic Marrok wields a spinning double-sided red saber.

Today, the official Star Wars account recently shared a detailed look at the lightsaber hilts of all the characters. "'An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.' #Ahsoka now streaming on @DisneyPlus," reads the caption of the Star Wars prop-focused video. You can watch it here:

It's interesting to see the different lightsaber hilts used in Ahsoka, and this video is a great reminder of the spectacular lightsaber action scenes featured in the series so far.

Where did Ahsoka's white lightsabers come from?

In Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7, Ahsoka participates in the renowned Siege of Mandalore, wielding a new set of lightsabers. Anakin Skywalker presents them to her during their final encounter prior to his descent into the dark side, noting that he had "enhanced" them. These particular lightsabers possess blue blades akin to his own, but Ahsoka does not retain them for an extended period. Following the siege, Order 66, and Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader, she interred them to feign her demise. Subsequently, Ahsoka vanquishes the Imperial Inquisitor recognized as the Sixth Brother, acquires the red kyber crystals from his lightsaber, purifies them, and uses them to fabricate the white lightsabers that we see on Star Wars: Rebels, The Mandalorian, and Ahsoka.
