Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 Adds Tommie Earl Jenkins in Recurring Role

Death Stranding star and stage veteran recruited for key recurring part in Ahsoka Season 2.

As Lucasfilm expands the Star Wars galaxy with new ventures such as the animated Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord and the upcoming feature film The Mandalorian and Grogu, the studio is also preparing the highly-anticipated second season of Ahsoka. The live-action series has now bolstered its ensemble with the addition of experienced performer Tommie Earl Jenkins, who will take on a recurring role across multiple episodes.

According to an update on his professional résumé hosted on Actors Access, veteran actor Tommie Earl Jenkins has joined the production of Ahsoka Season 2 in a recurring capacity. Further information shared by MoraiMessenger offers some additional context on the casting. The reporting indicates that the character portrayed by Jenkins is expected to have interactions with Ezra Bridger, played by Eman Esfandi, who was last seen reuniting with the New Republic’s military forces.

Tommie Earl Jenkins is an accomplished performer with a diverse career spanning video games, television, film, and theater. He is widely recognized for portraying Die-Hardman in the acclaimed video game Death Stranding and its sequel, providing voice, motion capture, and likeness under director Hideo Kojima. Jenkins also voiced the tertiary character Gulu in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, one of the comical duo often compared to the Muppets' Statler and Waldorf for their roasting commentary. Additionally, he gained popularity as the voice of Ubercorn in the long-running BBC children's series Go Jetters. On stage, Jenkins originated the role of Barry Belson in the hit musical Jersey Boys across Broadway, London, and Las Vegas productions.

The upcoming season will see the return of key cast members from the first installment. Rosario Dawson stars as Ahsoka Tano, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo portraying Sabine Wren. Mary Elizabeth Winstead returns as Hera Syndulla, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger. Rory McCann has been cast as Baylan Skoll, succeeding the late Ray Stevenson in the role. David Tennant continues to voice the droid character Huyang. Production details remain closely guarded, but the ensemble promises to deliver continued exploration of the Star Wars lore.
