The future of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is still unclear considering that the sequel currently doesn't have a release date. However, the actors who are set to return in the third Spider-Verse movie are already excited about what will happen next. Karan Soni is certainly hyped up about the animated film and he shared his biggest worry about Beyond the Spider-Verse.

Karan Soni debuted as Pavitr Prabhakar in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man India immediately became a fan-favorite. It was also suggested that the character will be back in the sequel after he joined Gwen Stacy's new team that will be searching for Miles Morales. Still, the Deadpool star shared that he has some uncertainties about the third Spider-Verse movie.

While speaking to The Movie Dweeb, Karan Soni discussed what it was like being a part of Across the Spider-Verse, working with Daniel Kaluuya, and the overwhelming fan reaction to the film. He then pointed out that the sequel's success definitely put the pressure on its follow-up.

"[I’m] a little bit like, 'How are they gonna make the next one?' I’m just like, 'What else is there to do?' But, I feel worried for them," Soni said of the producers. "It’s like, you can only set the bar… Because, we’re so close to it being a perfect trilogy and now, I’m just like worried about what they’re gonna do, because I just feel anxiety for them of what is allowed to do."

It is a valid point considering that the Spider-Verse crew pulled out all the stops on the second film. So how exactly are they going to top Across the Spider-Verse? We're not sure about that just yet but we can't wait to know what will happen in the third movie.

If the creative team is planning something big for Spider-Verse 3, it looks like they will be getting more time to perfect the sequel. It was previously confirmed that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse has been taken out of Sony Pictures' roster and will no longer hit theaters in March next year. Although the delay means we'll have to wait a little longer for the movie, there is little doubt that the cast and crew will make sure it is worth it.
